Conditions commonly helped by BowenTherapy
Bowen therapy is best known for treatment for low back pain, neck pain, upper back pain and other joint and muscle pains such as shoulder pain, jaw pain, knee injuries, rheumatism, fibrositis and fibromyalgia. However, Bowen therapy is equally helpful in treatment for non-joint conditions such as migraines, headaches, period pains, asthma, heyfever, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), colitis, repetative strain injuries (RSI) etc.
The deep relaxation experienced during Bowen Therapy makes Bowen an excellent therapy in treatment for anxiety, stress and tension.
Treatment for sports injuries and treatment for accident injuries such as neck whiplash and low back pain resulting from road traffic accidents (RTAs) are also helped by Bowen therapy.
Research, around the world is showing Bowen therapy, also known as Bowen Technique, to be effective in treatment for back pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, asthma, frozen shoulder, anxiety and temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) pain.
