Nikki Hawkes is a qualified acupuncturist, providing acupuncture treatment at a small clinic in Rutland. Her clients come from a wide area which includes Peterborough and Leicester as well as places closer to home such as Stamford, Oakham and Grantham.
Acupuncture is often chosen for musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, back pain, knee pain and sciatica. However it is also helpful for conditions such as hayfever, sinusitis, headache, insomnia, depression and anxiety.
In the UK acupuncture is considered a form of complementary medicine. However acupuncture has been used extensively in China for thousands of years to maintain health and wellbeing as well as treating all manner of disease.
The needles used in acupuncture are sterile, single use only and are disposed of immediately after use.
