We are a member of British Damage Management Association.
Whether you are buying or selling your property and would like to make sure that the property is not suffering from an on-going damp issue we can help by carrying out a full non-invasive moisture survey in the property which will give you peace of mind.
We will always have a walkthrough with the client at the end of the survey to discuss our findings before the report is produced.
Following a survey, you will receive a technical report which will include a floor plan with marked locations of where the readings have been taken from.
In most of the modern buildings, the floor will be of layered construction. To dry this type of floor, a specialist drying will have to be carried out to remove excess moisture from below screed.
Water damage can be devastating. Prompt action is necessary to avoid property suffering from secondary damage which will lead to extensive strip out works.
Wet building materials will be cooler. We can use a thermal camera to identify those areas without a need to disturb the building materials.
Thermal imaging can be used to identify areas prone to condensation or to find a leak.
Construction of the property will determine the best drying method. From injection drying to simple air circulation and dehumidification Flood Doctor does it all.
From initial emergency response to reinstatements, Flood Doctor will take care of all your needs.
As a result of high moisture levels following an escape of water in the property, the wall has suffered from secondary damage in the form of mould growth.
Mould can pose a serious health risk to the occupants of the property. If you had a leak in the property chances are that mould will follow if the affected areas have not been dried properly.
