  • My Local Services cannot be held responsible for any services or goods supplied nor do we control or are held responsible for prices of such services, products and goods, availability, competency, suitability of venues, companies and suppliers listed on or linking to My Local Services.
  • The reviews of local venues and service providers published on My Local Services are provided by members of the public and do not represent the opinion of My Local Services or its owners. The reviews are the individual opinions of members of the public based upon their individual experience on an individual occasion.
  • All reviews submitted to My Local Services therefore express the views and opinions of the authors and hence My Local Services nor its web master or owners will be held liable.
  • We retain the right to alter and amend these Terms and conditions as required and without notification.

In General

  • Access to and use of this Web site and the services available at this Web site are subject to the following terms and conditions as set forth in this notice. By accessing, using or subscribing your business to the Web site or downloading materials from the Web site, you agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions set forth below without any modification. Please, review them carefully. If you do not agree to the terms, please do not use this Web site.

Business Listings

  • My Local Services holds no responsibility to the accuracy of any free or paid listings.
  • For Premium and National Listings, companies are entering into a 3, 6 or 12 month paid agreement with My Local Services, where My Local Services will display that business on it’s own database, which will be accessible by the general public.
  • At the end of the agreement period, businesses will need to resubscribe to keep their business listed in the Premium format, and keep access to functionality provided for Premium and National Listings.
  • Payment terms for Premium and National Listings are 7 days. If after a statement letter is sent, followed by a final demand letter, no payment is forthcoming, then the customer will be referred to a debt collection agency for subscription recovery. From this point communication involving monies will be handled by a third party on behalf of My Local Services.
  • For Companies that have been given a 30 day free trial Premium Listing, they will not be invoiced or asked for monies unless they verbally agree to taking out an annual subscription with My Local Services. During the end of the 30 day trial, a salesperson will call inviting that company to an annual subscription. If the offer of an annual subscription is not deemed as value to the potential customer, then the trial listing will be reverted to a free basic listing at no cost, and the company that had the 30 day trial will owe nothing.
  • A 30 day trial listing can be cancelled at any time by notifying by email to e-sales@mylocalservices.co.uk or by Telephone to 01564 794676 confirming cancellation. Again no monies will be owed.
  • Responsibility for making contact during the 30 day trial lies with My Local Services and not the customer.
  • My Local Services will ensure Premium Listings are more eye catching than free listings, and will give access to any extra functionality that is available. My Local Services cannot guarantee that the same extra functionality will be available in all regions, and content may vary dependant on area.
  • My Local Services will ensure National Listings have the same functionality as Premium Listings, as well as being displayed throughout the UK for each chosen category.
  • If for any reason a business no longer wishes to subscribe to the My Local Services Database, no part or full refund of any subscription fees will be given, except with management discretion.
  • My Local Services reserves the right to remove any business, either free or Premium listing from the database at any time. Examples include Business no longer trading, complaints regarding obscene or illegal business practices. No part or full refund of any subscription fees will be given, except with management discretion.


Recommend another Business and receive an extra months advertising offer

  • If you recommend My Local Services to another business, and they sign up as a paying customer, we will extend your Premium subscription by one month.
  • There is no limit to the number of businesses you can recommend, and we will grant you one month extra to your subscription for every new business you recommend that signs up with us. We also have opportunities available for reselling our product at reduced rates to yourself, contact us for further information.
  • My Local Services reserves the right to wait for payment from the new business before granting an extra month to the existing subscriber.
  • The recommended business must not be in any way commercially associated with the existing subscriber. This includes businesses with multiple outlets, or owners of multiple businesses or enterprises.
  • This offer is only available to paid up Premium and National Listing Subscribers. New subscribers still owing money to My Local Services will not be granted any extra months free advertising until their outstanding accounts have been settled.

 Regional Portals

  • My Local Services is not responsible for the quality or content of any associated RSS news feeds or third party content displayed on any regional portals.
  • Premium and National Listings may have access to functionality within the portals only where available, and no guarantees are provided as to which parts of the country are covered by a local portal.
  • Any content or events entered into local portal event planners are not the responsibility of My Local Services, but My Local Services reserves the right to remove any obscene or inappropriate content or events, or content that has been subject to complaint.

 Intellectual Property

  • The copyright in this entire Web site, unless stipulated, is held by My Local Services. All material provided on this Web site is protected under international copyright laws and treaty provisions. Except as expressly provided herein, none of the material provided on this Web site may be copied, distributed, republished, reproduced, downloaded, displayed or transmitted in any form for commercial use without the prior written permission of My Local Services.
  • Individual visitors of this Web site are permitted to download or print one copy of material published on this Web site solely for their personal, non-commercial use, provided that they do not modify the materials and that they retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the materials. This permission terminates automatically if you breach any of the terms and conditions contained herein. My Local Services does not grant any express or implied right to you under any patents, trademarks, copyrights or trade secret laws.

Survival

  • In the event one part of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the other provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
