Well at least the economy is, not my hair or waistline

The BBC is reporting "figures, from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), show the economy is now 0.2% ahead of its pre-crisis peak, which was reached in the first quarter of 2008."

So there we have it, it's taken 6 years but the economy is back on an even keel. Pack up the credit crunch catch phrases, park the boom and bust analogies for at least 4 years until the next recession hits us!

I don't think we'll see any issues until interest rates start rising, with wage rates stagnant and the cost of living having risen, repossessions are just around the corner. The booming economy will be irrelivent to many whose main concern is keeping the roof over their heads... Not forgetting that the country is still billions in debt and will remain so for the foreseeable future.... So no tax cuts.

Thanks,
Barney
