Steve & his team run a 1st class Kennels. We have owned dogs for over 25 years & this is by far the best kennel we have ever found. The kennels are roomy, clean, tidy & noticeably calm & quiet which Steve explains is because they get plenty of exercise -several walks a day with or without other dogs. It's lovely to go on holiday without feeling guilty that you have left your dogs behind !

This is certainly the best kennel for your pet. Steve and Gaynor looked after my border collie like he was their own. He didn't want to come home after 2 weeks of staying there :) The kennels are very clean and tidy and there is no barking or noise at the kennels. The dogs get plenty of exercise and all the helpers are very friendly. They let us look around the kennels without having to make the appointment which to me meant i could trust them. If your dog get's on with the other dogs and you wish so they will join him with other dogs so they can have a good run around. A+ and would recommend it to anyone. This year we going away twice and I've got no doubt my dog will be well looked after !

We are off on holiday soon and have been really worried about leaving our dog. Have looked at a number of kennels in the area and really wasn't happy. Went to meet the owners of strawbyn and was put at ease straight away. They suggested a trial run and our dog went in Saturday. By the time we collected him on Sunday he had three walks (that day) and was allowed to play with other dogs. Really happy. Steve and Gaynor actually really care about the dogs. You could see that Steve and Gaynor actually really loved the dogs and it wasn't just about making money. Our dog was happily wagging his tail when we collected him and seemed very happy in Steve and Gaynor's company.


Finding a good kennel is such a relief and we will defiantely be going back.
