We are a small family-run business based in real office premises in Askern, Doncaster. Askern House also rents out office space to small businesses so a virtual office service fits in great, and looks to your customers (especially if you add a picture of our premises to your website) as if you really are physically based here. This is something most virtual office providers cannot offer. We don't use Suite or PO Box numbers either, again removing the obvious signs of a virtual office.

The business mailing address service allows you to use Askern House as your virtual trading address and also as a registered office address for your limited company. Should any mail arriove for you, simply provide us with some credit (minimum £5) and we will forward it on to you by 1st class Royal Mail post to your home or other nominated address. We email you on the day your mail arrives and confirm we are posting it out, so you know to expect it. Royal Mail 1st Class takes 1-2 days. We post mail by 5pm each evening Mon-Fri so it should generally arrive with you the next day.

Note: Due to the process of the virtual office service requiring to be manually checked and verified before approval and taking your payment, we are unable to process this service online. This is in accordance with the Money Laundering Regulationsd as set out by HM Revenue & Customs.

Our virtual receptionist call answering service is perfect for sole traders who are unable to take their incoming calls some or all of the time during the working day. Maybe you are in and out of meetings, training, or on jobs. Or maybe you want to give the impression you have your own receptionist, or avoid taking all calls directly until screened first. This is useful for avoiding cold/nuisance sales calls, or giving yourself time to prepare information before calling people back who have left a message. Whatever your reason, our service allows you to get on with your job whilst we deal with screening your inbound calls. We have package options starting at just £25 a month (includes upto 30 inbound calls) or you can choose our PAYG option where calls work out at just 75p each, regardless of volume. None of our call answering options have a minimum contract term beyond one month so you are not tied into anything with us. You can also start and stop the service to suit your needs. Even if you just need very short-term holiday cover for a week or two, one of our options will suit you.
 
We give you a unique telephone number which you use to put on divert from your own buisness number. This is ideal where you already have an established main buisness number that you still want people to call, but then the calls are diverted from there to us. You also have full control at your end, of putting the divert on and off to suit your needs. 
 
We answer in your company name - we set this up on our system so your business name displays when callers ring your number and come through to us. All calls go to voicemail after 4.30pm and weekends or bank holidays, which are checked the next monring on our return to the office.
 
All messages left for you will be emailed to you straight away. If you don't use email, we can call you with the details. This might be more suitable for trades people who can't check their email during the day if out on site, although these days Blackberry's are becoming more popular for people who do wish to be able to check their email from anywhere in the world. You can get a Blackberry phone with 100 mins and 100 texts, with Blackberry push email (so you get your email on your phone instantly) for as little as £15 a month with T-Mobile (as of June 2011) so it's worth considering. 
 
You can also use the number we provide to you as your main business if you don't already have one. Doing it this way, all calls will come through to us because no divert is in place, however you can't take the divert on and off with this option.And don't worry, if you want to keep this number but stop using our service, then for a small cost (currently £10) we can arrange a transfer to you. We can also advise how to purchase your own number and put it on divert to us. 
 
 
To proceed with either service please request an application sign-up form by phoning 01302 288678 or emailing admin[at]fonealone.co.uk and we'll send you it right away.
 
Once completed, email it back to us (or return by post) and we will check your application. Once approved, we will email you an invoice (or send in post if email not available) showing the amount due for the services you have selected. Our invoice will contain details on how to pay as chosen on your sign-up form. Current methods of payment include payment directly into our bank (BACS, direct transfer, cash over counter), cheque (please allow around 5 days clearance) or PayPal (you do not need to have an account with PayPal but you can still pay by debit or credit card via PayPal by entering your card details in the normal way. The transaction is instant and we'll get an email notification of your payment. If you pay into our bank, let us know and we will check it has arrived. 
 
Whichever method you choose, once your payment has cleared into our account we will let you know on that same working day.

We use Fone Alone for our call answering and receive an excellent service. It saves me having to make sure I am always there to answer the phone so very handy when in meetings with my clients, out networking, etc. I also sub out my Facebook clients to them now too, so they do a bit of virtual admin for me too.
