In the past 4 months I posted aa birthday card to Hampshire which failed to arrive and just recently a letter to New York failed to arrive. Coincidence that both were posted in the same village using the Newark sorting office? Both items had my address label affixed. I am now reluctant to send my Christmas parcles through Royal Mail.

Similar to the previous review - we keep receiving others post which makes me wonder whether I actually receive all of my post! In addition parcels delivered are hit and miss as to whether I receive if the sender has posted 1st or 2nd class - creating significant issues. Certainly don't try and use the website to arrange a re delivery as I've tried this 3 times and it's never worked - I then have to pop to Newark sorting office and it seems to make the parcel harder to find! Why companies can't just stop using Royal Mail and switch to something like DPD who's online offering and re delivery options are far better... So many times Newark won't leave with a neighbour despite my requests. If I had a choice I would never use but unfortunately there is no choice

Normally the service is good but we keep getting our mail delivered to other people even though they have the correct name and address on. This happens on a regular basis not just once or twice but more like weekly. Just this week we nearly missed a letter from the Hospital. Please could someone sort this out as both me and my wife are under the hospital. I do not know if this is a problem at the sorting office or on the delivery route but it keeps happening and not only to us but also our neighbours also get the wrong mail as well.
