Jan Brand Counselling & Coaching Rate and Review this Listing About my practice My practice is in Colyton, East Devon and it is in easy reach of Sidmouth, Honiton, Axminster, Seaton, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Ottery St. Mary, Beer, Branscombe, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth and Chard. I also work in consulting rooms in Exeter, Axminster and Bishopsteignton. About me and what I provide I am a qualified counsellor and I offer counselling for individuals and couples. I also offer life, relationship, business and executive coaching. I will help you to understand the past and to find a way forward that works for you. I believe that we all deserve to feel happy, fulfilled and confident. My aim will be to work alongside you, helping you to make the necessary changes which will improve your life, making you feel better and more able to cope. I approach each of my clients as a unique individual. I provide supervision for counsellors and trainee counsellors. I also work with groups and offer facilitation and training. Guided meditation is available for individuals and groups, together with Mindfulness meditation and guidance. My qualifications I have a Certificate in Counselling from Exeter University, an RSA Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork Skills, an Advanced Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I am trained to work with survivors of abuse. I believe in an integrative approach when working with my clients as I am also trained in and use other approaches where appropriate, these include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), transactional analysis (TA), couples counselling, group and family therapy. I am a member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP and several other professional bodies. Membership of these bodies ensures a strict code of ethics and the highest standards of practice and confidentiality. I abide by their code of ethics and good practice. I have worked as a trainer, coach and facilitator for approximately twenty years.
