Youth Theatre

Classworks Theatre runs two youth theatre groups.

If you are aged 11 -14 years we run a group called CYT2 which meets on Monday's from 5-7 pm at Arbury Community Centre, Campkin Road, Cambridge.

If you are aged 14-18 years we run a group known as CLASH which meets on Tuesday's from 5-7 pm in A4, the new workshop space at The Junction, Cambridge. This group is run jointly with The Junction. Members of CLASH have the opportunity to enter the Arts Award Scheme.

First come, first served. No auditions. Both groups perform in at least one production per year.


Professional Touring

The professional touring arm of the company focuses on new work for and with young people providing high quality productions and supporting workshops, touring locally and nationally to arts venues, outdoor sites and schools. Our next production, Gilgamesh is planned for Spring 2007.

Classworks have recently finished a nation-wide tour of In Limbo, by Claire MacDonald, adapted from awarding winning children's writer David Almond's short story The Baby. In Limbo was also at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
